Why are most of the Support Group meetings for general addiction…rather than specific to alcohol, narcotics, sex, overeating, etc.?

We believe that most addictions have similar foundations for their creation and very similar processes for recovery. We also find that once someone finds their way to recovery, they are likely to discover that they have other addictions that must be addressed. Our suggestion is to come to the meetings with an open mind and an intention to make it a worthwhile experience.
